Weight issues
I guess everyone has weight issues. It's all over the news and magazines. Well, I have weight issues, I can't stop eating! I was always skinny up until I had my second daughter, Isabelle. I never went back to being the weight that I was before I had her, but it wasn't until I moved here to Italy that I gained 30lbs! I have tried to loose weight a few times and failed miserably. I worked out with a friend of mine for about six months, we did eleptical and a body combat class three or four times a week. For that time I didn't gain any weight but I didn't loose any either. I know it was because I still ate whatever I wanted. I just refused to change my eating habits. (I know it's stupid) Anyway, then I started to work and it all went to hell! Earlier in the year I went to a nutritionist and she put me on a 1,200 calorie a day diet. I followed it to the T. I also started walking on a treadmill my friend let me borrow. I lost 12lbs! But I was also starving all the time! My mom, dad, and sister came to visit for a month and yep, it all went to hell. Traveling around europe showing my family around, didn't help with my diet. Eating out all the time, and trying those once in a lifetime foods, I gained the 12lbs back. I just haven't been able to get back to working out. The more weight I gain, the lazier I get. I look horrible, I can't stand to look in the mirror and I don't take any pictures of myself. I hate to complain about it because I don't do anything about it, but it is so hard. I've never had to loose this much weight before and I also suffer from an anxiety disorder, so I get anxious about anything and the first thing I do is eat! I hate it. Anyway, I am going to stop complaining now.
I was going to write about Prison Break and the greatest invention EVER (the Sling Box) but, today is Veterans day and I want to write about my friend SSG John Linde. I met SSG Linde in Fort Belvoir, VA when I was in the army. He was an MP. He was always so funny. Later when I married my husband, Shaughn, we became better friends because he was Shaughn's squad leader. Anyway, SSG Linde left Fort Belvoir in 2005. He reenlisted to go to Fort Drum, NY. He wanted to go to Iraq. He was really excited about it and tried to get Shaughn to go too. I checked out the website for the post and decided against it because it is SO COLD in that area.
Well, he left and deployed in late 2005. He came back a year later. At this point we're in Italy so the only contact we have with him is Myspace and the occasional phone call. About a year after he got back he deployed again. I remember as if it was yesterday, I'm on myspace and I see a bulletin from his wife saying that he had deployed. This was Nov 4th 2007. The next day I told my friend, Ashlie about him and that I couldn't believe that he was in Iraq again. The next day on the 6th, I saw another bulletin from his wife, saying that Linde had passed way in Iraq.He died of wounds suffered when and improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee during combat operations. Three other Soldiers lost their lives that day.
SSG John Linde was a great person, so full of life. He was short for a guy and my husband is tall and goes to the gym, so SSG Linde would mess with him, hit him or pepper spray him and then run away so fast! He made me laugh all the time. He would tell stories about growing up in New Jersey. He was survived by his wife Vilma and daughters Victoria and another daughter from a previous relationship.
It's been a year since he died, and I still can't believe it. Today on Veterans day he would have been 32. I will ALWAYS remember him.

Blog virgin
Ok, so I have written in a journal since before I can remember. Usually when I am really stressed, depressed, or going through something MAJOR. But recently I started looking into blogging. I am ALWAYS online, I post pictures online, why not write my thoughts and opinions online too?
Well, I am going to start by introducing myself. I was born in Puerto Rico, I am 27 years old ( soon to be 28) , I am married (for five years) and I have two lovely daughters. I LOVE photography, traveling and watching tv. I watch anything from Grey's anatomy to Law and Order SVU. I also love Lifetime movies.
I plan to write about my girls, photography, traveling ( I currently live in Italy) and TV shows. Well, this is it for now, my husband and I are having an argument on who is going to start the movie we're about to watch, Made of Honor. Ciao!
